『道の駅めぬま』にある『めぬまアグリパーク』にて吟子桜（河津桜）が間もなく見頃を迎えます。

原名『河津桜』は熊谷市（旧妻沼町）出身の日本公許登録女医第1号である荻野吟子女史生誕の3月3日頃に見頃になることから、『吟子桜』と呼ばれ親しまれています。
例年見頃は3月中旬頃まで。早咲きの吟子桜が春の訪れを感じさせます。
『道の駅めぬま』には、『めぬまアグリパーク』と『めぬま物産センター』があります。
それぞれ開設時間および休業日が異なりますのでご確認の上、お出かけください。
