星川さんぽ（その２）…「せせらぎベンチ」が設置されました。

てくてくと星川を歩いていくと、ちょっと小洒落たベンチが設置されています。
地元の商店街（星川通り商店街振興会、星川通中央親交会）と埼玉県建築士会 大里支部の皆さんで話し合いを繰り返し、「緑陰のもと、水面を眺めながら、休めるベンチ」をデザインし、設置されたものです。地元の人からは、「せせらぎベンチ」と呼ばれています。
「緑の風吹くまちづくり事業」として、埼玉県の支援も受けながら、これまでも、パーゴラや木柵フレームを設置し、星川の緑化、憩いの場づくりへの工夫をしています。
