江戸時代の豪農として栄えた根岸家、当時の当主であった根岸友山は、河川改修事業や教育文化活動等に尽力しました。こうした「友山」の活動を紹介するほか、特産品の販売や、たけのこ狩等のイベントが行なわれます。
